Rachele Wildmare, BA(Hons) Monash University, M.M.T.A.(nsw)
Rachele studied Violin Pedagogy with acclaimed teacher & author, Lois Shepheard; becoming Lois’s assistant teacher for 3 years before running her own teaching studio in Melbourne for almost a decade. She is an accredited violin teacher with the Music Teacher’s Association (NSW).
Rachele is also a professional violinist specialising in combining classical violin with other performance disciplines (circus, fire arts, physical theatre). Her multi-award winning show Strings on Fire, has performed 3 world tours, and regularly performs for events in Australia.
Rachele uses a wholistic approach to music education, incorporating her background in performance, physical awareness including Alexander Technique, Yoga & Circus, and music education systems including Suzuki Method and Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB).
Her other interests include visual art (painting, digital art, multimedia), music composition, music & film production and yoga.
Rachele lives and teaches in Leura in the Blue Mountains.
