Alongside her Blue Mountains studio, Rachele is part of a small, family-based network of professional string educators working across Australia and the United States.
Her sister, Melanie Dyball, and brother, Stephen Dyball, direct Arborway String Studio in Jamaica Plain, Boston, offering violin, viola, and cello instruction within a strong classical and ensemble-based tradition.
Melanie visits Katoomba at least once each year. During these visits, she leads cello intensives, works directly with Rachele’s cello students, and occasionally takes ensemble rehearsals. Melanie is also Rachele’s cello teacher and a teacher-trainer, contributing to the ongoing development of the studio’s cello program.
At times, cello students from both studios share short, teacher-curated video messages, fostering a sense of connection and motivation within a small, supportive international exchange. Rachele’s brother Stephen has also provided occasional video feedback and lessons to advanced violin students — an exchange that may continue to grow organically over time.
Each studio operates independently, but this shared approach reflects a common commitment to thoughtful, long-term music education grounded in care, musicianship, and collaboration.
